Green Lantern Wins People’s Choice Award

Last night during the People’s Choice Awards Ryan Reynolds won the award for Favorite Movie Superhero for his portrayal of Hal Jordan in the Green Lantern movie.  The awards are given based on public vote and this year over 230 million people voted in a broad range of categories covering film, television and music.  Other nominees for the award were Chris Evans (Captain America), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), James McAvoy (X-men: First Class) and Jennifer Lawrence (X-men: First Class).
