It's been a hard week for Green Lantern: The Animated Series fans, but if there's one good thing it's that we still have a new episode airing this weekend. This week's episode "Cold Fury" promises to be something special following hot on the heels of the emotional "Loss" episode last week. Here's the official description of the episode as well as two preview clips and some new official promotional images provided by Warner Brothers.
A horde of Manhunters gives chase as our heroes' hope runs thin. Their will is truly tested as they prepare for an inevitable face-off against the unstoppable Anti-Monitor – a battle for the lives of everyone in the galaxy.

oh no! Save yourself, Bleez!
God this is remarkable entertainment... I'm sickened at the thought the show's been canceled. With so much pain in the world and challenges today... a little healthy escapism is not only welcome... it's necessary.
Cartoon Network just likes to retain idiotic trash...instead of intellectual property.
Warner Bros should search for other channels... options.
Hell produce the episodes to DVD only...I'd buy..no matter the cost. Can't wait till season two's release.
Come on fans call this number (404) 827-1700...it' s associated with Cartoon Network and CNN. An operator will connect you to their voicemail... lodge a complaint!!!
Bring GLTAS back! Or sell to another channel.
Ice's comment is spot on. I too would definitely buy new DVDs if that's the only way to see new GLTAS episodes. I do wish that this show continues. It really does provide much needed escape from a hectic and worrisome life.
EVERYONE: Take an active stand and sign this online petition to bring back Green Lantern the Animated Series and Young Justice: http://www.change.org/petitions/cartoon-network-warner-bros-bring-back-young-justice-and-green-lantern-the-animated-series
Wow... these writers/ producers are BRILLIANT... who saw that coming. Thus crew should be hired for the GL 2 sequel... yah if that's ever made.
KUDOS... keeps me riveted... Aya' s a wonderful creation and excellent story arc. Still makes me want to hurl when I think the executive MORONS regard success with cancellations. Wish another channel would pick you up...you DESERVE to continue. Will be buying the DVD when it's released! Awesome episode... Razer...what were you thinking?
Awesome! You know what they say "hell hath no fury like a woman's scorn."
Who knew. Aya's incredible. Come on next Saturday.
Amazing episode and appropriately named. Poor Aya...emotions are pain with intermittent pleasure. Glad to see after her sacrifice... she made the fatal blow. Wonderful scripts. Didn't see that coming. I love all the characters... the actors put so much soul into the characters... one of the BEST show on TV from all genres.
Love Razer and understand his plight ( energy vs physical)
a bit awkward to say the least. Razer' s much to
understand...not the least... Aya's no ordinary female,
with superior intellect and incredible power... she's a force...
Agreed, what a surprise. Aya was hurt and sarcastic. Indicative of residual emotion. Can't wait till next week. I hate you CN for canceling this animation. When it goes off the air so does your channel for me and friends forever.
What a turn of events. Did anyone notice how the most grounded and emphatic character was Kilowog? He calmed Razer, straightened out Hal a few times and was compassionate, even logical with Aya. Excellent episode.
Although it was great to see Aya return, I was so appalled that just the episode before, Razer confessed his love for Aya and then suddenly he changed his mind in this episode. To tell a woman who is so much in love with him that he "does not love her," is incredibly painful. The pain of rejection is too much for Aya to bear, especially when she sacrificed her existence for Razer only to be thwarted when she did return. I could not get over the repulsion Razer gave to Aya when she came back in the body of a manhunter, all torn apart and messed up but her consciousness remained - she was still Aya underneath all that but Razer could not see past her current features. He did a great job breaking Aya's heart as well as mine. I could not blame Aya for being furious, I felt like she must have felt too that she was being used all along. It is no wonder she became cold and now just an emotionless machine - what a real shame, she has come a long way to being a sentient being with so much love to offer and now she is back to how she used to be - just a machine. Thanks a lot, Razer...
Although I agree Razer was a jerk in this episode there's a lot to consider. Aya's innocent and new to feeling. Even though she has strong feelings for him, she too is still trying to comprehend what love is, how it feels and how to respond. Logically Razer came to terms in a manner that although he cares he's probably uncertain how much he could give. Not to mention she's superior, would outlive him and their physical union's improbable. Yes Razer was thoughtless however he's still finding himself.
As for Aya emotionless, hardly as fury's the worst kind of emotion. She felt little recourse yet remained dutiful. Aya's amazing. So are the stories. My pain is that the show will end in a few weeks with so much more to tell.
