Johns Talk GL Movie at Scream Awards
As reported earlier, Geoff Johns was on hand for the Spike Scream Awards where he won the award for favorite comic book writer and Green Lantern won an award for Most Anticipated Movie. Collider caught up with Johns and got an interview where he discussed the movie and 3D, his role at DC Entertainment and more. Johns did reveal that while the trailer for the Green Lantern film preceding the November release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1 is more of a teaser trailer, it is longer and shows more that what you would normally get in your typical trailer. The awards air Tuesday, October 19th at 9pm EST on the Spike network.

Given that next summer is looking to be a crowded slate of blockbusters including Thor, Captain America, Transformers 3, Super 8 and the last Harry Potter film it is good to know that the Green Lantern film has a lot of buzz even before the first trailer has been released.
