Michael Clarke Duncan, the genre friendly actor who provided the voice for Kilowog in the Green Lantern movie, passed away on September 3rd. In July Mr. Duncan entered the hospital after suffering a myocardial infarction on July 13 and never fully recovered. Only 54, Duncan starred in films like Armageddon, Sin City, and Daredevil where he played the main villain, the Kingpin. It was his portrayal of John Coffey in the 1999 film adaptation of Stephen King’s The Green Mile that served as his breakout performance, earning an Oscar nomination that energized his acting career after leaving behind the life of a body guard.
