Fans of Green Lantern: The Animated Series lamented the lack of a high definition release of the series, but Warner Archive Collection will soon be providing the show in high definition on Blu-ray. Recently Producer Giancarlo Volpe and actor Josh Keaton (“Hal Jordan”) were asked about being on a panel for the Warner Archive Collection at this year’s Wondercon which sparked rumors that the series was getting the much desired Blu-ray treatment.Amazon.com beat the official announcement from Warner Brothers and listed the two disk blu-ray edition as an upcoming release. Confirmed by Warner Brothers on March 6th, the complete series will be released on March 18th. The series is available for pre-order from Amazon.com for $20.99 with the MSRP being $29.99. There will be no additional features for the release.
