In addition to releasing the upcoming Green Lantern: A Celebration of 75 Years hardcover book, DC Comics is making Green Lantern the focus of its monthly variant cover theme for September. According to IGN DC will be releasing twenty five variant covers in September, twenty four of them are shown below via IGN. It’s unknown what the 25th cover may be or if it’s an error on IGN’s part. (Update – IGN released the image of the final cover – Batman Beyond #4 – which has been added below)
It’s great to see Ivan Reis and Neal Adams work features on these cover considering their past connections to Green Lantern. Notably absent is Etan Van Sciver. The covers primarily feature Hal Jordan, however it is nice to see a couple of classic Alan Scott Golden Age images in the bunch as well as one featuring more members of the Corps.
