In an exclusive to IGN, Scott Snyder and DC Comics today announced a major shakeup of the Justice League titles starting in May.  According to their story the recently released solicitation for April’s Justice League #43 will be the final issue of the Christopher Priest penned series, with Justice League of America also set to conclude that same month.  Starting in May there will be a weekly four issue series which will springboard into a new family of Justice League titles in June with Scott Snyder, James Tynion IV, Joshua Williamson and more taking on the writing chores.  Art teams have yet to be announced.

The images that accompany the article show the four teams that make up the Justice League roster for May’s event which are comprised of a combination of DC’s heroes and villains.  Among the teams is “Team Mystery” which is made up of Superman, Starfire, Martian Manhunter…. Sinestro and Starro.  Simon Baz, Jessica Cruz and any other Green Lantern presence is absent from the teams and at this time DC Comics is not discussing the rosters for the new titles that will launch in June.  You can read more details about May’s event and comments from Snyder and Manapul on the original story over at IGN.
