The Lord Malvolio Affair

Episode 211 of The Podcast of Oa goes back to 1988 when Green Lantern was a feature in Action Comics Weekly, resisting the only appearance of a new Green Lantern villain, Lord Malvolio.  While talking about the story in Action Comics Weekly issues #632-635 Myron shares some insight into the background of the character and his creator. Phil spotlights Green Lantern R’amey Holl in this episode’s “Know Your Corps!” segment and there’s listener feedback as well.

  1. Hi Myron. Do you know comicbook stores in New York with 99 cent comics trays? I’m traveling with my familly on vacations this August. Love the podcast, You and Phill are my primary source on Green Lantern News and data. Greetings from Argentina. Santi M.

    1. Hi Santiago! Many shops have what we’d call “dollar bins” with comics for a dollar, plus many have sales and events sometimes. I don’t know of any in particular since I live in a pretty rural part of New York. My suggestion would be to use to help you find shops near where you’re traveling. They also have iPhone and android phone apps that can help you when you’re on the go. Do you know what part of the state you’re going to be in? Thanks!

  2. Thanx for the info. I found a Midtown cómics outlet in Queens. We will stay in Manhattan one week, one day in Filaladelphia and the last two at Legoland NY. Keep your ring charged!
