The CMON DC Super Heroes United board game campaign is in its final 48 hours, and during their livestream today CMON announced the final expansion for the game, The War of Light. The War of Light expansion adds Hal Jordan, Black Hand, Atrocitus, Larfleeze, Sinestro, Saint Walker, Indigo-1, Star Sapphire, and White Lantern Kyle Rayner to the game, along with a number of familiar henchmen (these have no miniatures). The $40 expansion adds a lot of Green Lantern-y goodness to the game in addition to the previously announced Green Lantern Corps Character Pack.
All the miniatures come with color detailing for each color in the emotional spectrum. While Hal, Saint Walker, and Kyle are playable heroes in the expansion, Sinestro, Larfleeze, Atrocitus, and Black Hand serve are the main villains. Indigo-1 and Star Sapphire are dual mode characters who can be played as a hero or as a villain. The expansion also adds a New Guardian themed team deck as well as Ring Quest cards that allow non-Lantern characters to be deputized by a specific corps ring upon completion of a specific task. There are also four new Lantern themed locations included as well.

CMON also recently introduced a Sidekicks expansion to the campaign, which includes the miniatures and cards to make a number of character sidekicks to your hero character. This expansion include both Ch’p and Dex-Starr miniatures as well as Ace the Bat-Hound and Detective Chimp.
