DC Comics has released their solicitation information for comics releasing in January of 2025, plus some collected editions that won’t see the light of day for some time. Jeremy Adams is continuing his exploration of a fractured emotional spectrum with, quite literally, Fractal Lanterns. Jo Mullein appears in what appears to be a new DC Pride series and Carol Ferris continues her superhero experience in the new Justice League Unlimited series. Hal Jordan appears on one of the covers for DC’s horror anthology, but the solicitation doesn’t mention anything about him appearing in the book.

There are also some Green Lantern appearances in a couple of DC’s facsimile reprints, as well as Guy Gardner appearing in a new collected edition of Justice League International. But perhaps the release that I’m most happy about is seeing Darwyn Cooke’s magnum opus, DC: The New Frontier, being offered as an Absolute Edition again. In my opinion this is one of the best books DC has ever published and is really showcased with the Absolute format. Cooke’s annotations in the back show just how much energy he poured into this reimagining of the dawn of the Silver Age and I cannot recommend it highly enough.
