DC Comics upcoming Convergence event has a two fold purpose, filling the two month publishing gap while DC shifts their offices from the east coast to the west and marking the 20th anniversary of Crisis on Infinite Earths. Set to run through April and May of 2015, Convergence centers itself around Brainiac unbottling cities he has captured from various realities in the DC multiverse in order to observe different versions of DC’s characters as they vie for supremacy.  Early information hasn’t revealed much in terms of Green Lantern centric information other than an image which included the ’90’s version of Hal Jordan as Parallax.  Today, courtesy of Blastr, we have more details regarding that specific part of the puzzle.

Writer Tony Bedard will be crafts a story for the upcoming Green Lantern / Parallax two part miniseries which revolves around a rookie Kyle Rayner and Hal Jordan Parallax.  Ironically Ron Marz is also contributing to the Convergence event, but not to this series which feature two characters he created.  Below is the first image from the miniseries and a brief description as posted on Blastr.
